The Photo
An article about Charles Darwin in National Geographic magazine. In fact, it partly inspired me for the whole trip these river images are from.
Here you can see an area of some kind of a dried river path. I don't think there has ever been a river going through. The moss you see on the rocks is a gift from huge, around 80 meters high waterfall (I'll upload image of it in the near future). And as the waterfall falls, it gives this nice mystical mood to the scene. That is perfect slow spray of water that spreads around the area and brings every color to life.
I could add more contrast to the image, but I really like the scene so mystical.
