Novigrad, Istra, Croatia, freezing Croatia!

The town Novigrad (Cittanova) has developed in the 18th century, on the peninsula of Istria.
Because of a long and significant history and many governments, Novigrad has preserved its medieval streets, an old town walls and towers as a remainder and a cultural heritage of the ancestors.
Novigrad is a smaller settlement with only cca 2,500 inhabitants and is located on the root of the river Mirna and it is a peacefull town, an ideal place for those who seek the peace and joy in their vacation. Explore the coastline along Novigrad and you will find numerous small bays, rocky beaches and secret places to spend a sun bliss day. The tourist office is also a good place to search for the locations.
Far stretched wineyards surround Novigrad and give an extraordinary view on those green hills. The Mirna flows near Novigrad into the Adriatic Sea. The well preserved town walls are beautifully restored within some old buildings in the old town and are exposed to the world.
Novigrad surely is among one of the most beautiful cities on the Istrian west coast.
