Sava's Sleeve

The Photo

Went out shooting yesterday for two reasons:
First: I haven't been out for two weeks and second: sky was promising!

We had few overcast days here in Croatia and yesterday was the last one of that kind. I felt that sunset is going to be spectacular as clouds were in rarely seen formation. I call them 'mid level' clouds as they are not too close nor far away from the ground. I arrived couple of hours before 'golden minutes' and composed for the most promising shot. Unfortunately, this is not that composition as I had to move due to the shadows on that composed scene. While waiting for the sun to drop down clouds were perfect, like a blanket, fluffy...but as the sun was dropping clouds vanished. I prayed for all the forces to keep at least something interesting in the sky.
The final light is captured in this image. Me happy, hope you are going to be happy too.

This river leftover that you see is a small canal that regulates river's Sava highness. Summer is near - rain is far away - water is low.
